Ontario Summer Football League (OSFL)
The Ontario Summer Football League (OSFL) is a competitive, premier contact youth tackle football league in Ontario, Canada. Operating in the spring and summer, the OSFL features travel teams from across the province and culminates in a provincial championship event known as the Summer Cup. It is the summer contact football program run under the umbrella of Football Ontario.
The Cumberland Panthers 2026 OSFL program offers three age divisions, with specific birth years determining eligibility as of December 31, 2026.
Bantam Varsity (U14): Players born in 2012 and 2013
Junior Varsity (U16): Players born in 2010 and 2011
Senior Varsity (U18): Players born in 2008 and 2009
* All athletes must remain in their designated age division; no exemptions will be considered.
Playing season: The OSFL official games operate during the spring and summer months. Registration for the Cumberland Panthers 2026 season opens on January 1, 2026. Try-outs will begin in January with final teams determined in March. Regular Season games begin in May and run until the end of July.
Competition: OSFL is a high-level competitive program. Teams travel across Ontario to play.
Fees: 1350$ for the season. Try-outs $350 (non-refundable), season registration $1000.
Equipment: The full registration cost includes helmet, shoulder pads, knee pads, mouthguard, practice pants/jersey and game jerseys. Players are responsible for their own cleats, girdle, and non-medical tape.
*A Postdated cheque or Credit card information is required at time of pickup which will be returned once all equipment has been returned.
