Cumberland Panthers Cheerleading is a purely recreational program and is focused on teaching team dynamics, building relationships, fostering respect between peers and most of all having fun!
The program consists of three teams :
Team #1 - 5-7yrs
Team # 2 - 8-10yrs
Team # 3 - 11-13yrs
There are no try-outs, however there is a limit to the number of athletes per team due to the coach/participant ratio.
Practices begin in June, Wednesday evenings @ Millennium Field #3 (across the street from the Water Park - Time to be determined) and will continue until mid October.
Each group will begin cheering for their corresponding football team at home games (Millennium Turf Field) mid to late August and these games will typically be held either Saturday or Sunday mornings.
The season fee is $200 per athlete which covers the uniform & bow (yours to keep), club t-shirt and the end of season banquet. An additional fee of $35 for the Ontario Football Alliance (OFA #) is MANDATORY for every NEW or RETURNING Athlete and must be provided before attending the first practice.
While the season fee covers the uniforms, field rentals and all league events, team building events and end of year gifts must be covered by team fundraising which is a mandatory part of all Cumberland Panthers programs.
