FAQ

At what age can you start playing football?

We have programs for girls age 9-21 and boys from age 5-18.

Our programs include cheerleading, girls touch, flag, non-contact and tackle (5-15 years old).

When is the football season?

The NCAFA league (National Capital Amateur Football Association) runs from July until early November.

NCAFA teams are for players born in '10-'11-'12 (Tyke), '08-'09 (Mosquito), '06-'07 (Peewee) and '04-'05 (Bantam).

Girls touch football for players born 2000-2011 runs from March through early July.

Co-ed flag football for players born 2006-2012 runs from May through early July.

Does it matter where I live?

There are specific territory rules in place for the NCAFA tackle programs. Generally, Cumberland Panthers players live east of Tenth Line Blvd and east of Mer Blue. The NCAFA territory map, which shows clearly the boundaries of our territory, can be found at this link: http://www.ncafa.ca/

How do I register?

Online registration will begin in January. In-person registration sessions will be held starting in May.
